Masterful systemic coaching consists in creating a silent space within which clients can unfold and grow. Consequently, coaching empty space made of silence is the most central, most essential ally at the service of coach and client shared quests.
Ccoaching silence acts as a powerful vacuum. It serves to aspire and inspire clients, to help them dive into the deepest folds of their innermost worlds. While authentically present to such client quest, coach silence consequently needs to be trustful, intense, respectful, focused, positive, compassionate, all-inclusive.
Consequently, systemic coaches are to be silent in coaching partnerships. They are to work with shared silence, welcome client silences.
- Usually at first, clients will fill this coaching silent or empty space with all they already know.
- Then they too come to their own inner silence, and this is when their coaching work really begins.
